Manas National Park

Manas National Park is located in the Himalayan foothills with a Project Tiger Reserve, and an Elephant Reserve in Assam.Manas is famous for its rare and endangered species as Assam roofed turtle, hispid hare, golden langur and pygmy hog.It is a biosphere reserve and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.The name of the park originated from the Manas river.The Manas river also serves as international border dividing India and Bhutan.The National Park has recorded 55
